Pretty easy to replace with this part. But must have the right screwdrivers (two different ones). The photo of the product shows two screwdrivers, thought they were included in the package. But actually not. Have to spend time and money to find the right screwdrivers ...

I don't know about the battery life just yet.As far as easy to install I had BestBuy Geek Squad install it.The price was alright I guess. I've never bought one before.It's working and that's what matters.

No issues installing. They provide tools but I didn’t need - it was nice of them. Once I put in pc it charged and he was back up and running. Haven’t heard anything in 2 weeks so hopefully all good.
